Are there many differences between the US Seakings (SH-3??) and the UK versions (asides from the odd radome etc.)?

The new tool Airfix kit is supposed to be good.

The newer Airfix boxing that I have ("tiger stripe" camo) does not have sponsons, just little winglets for the main gears. The old tool kit has the sponsons. I think I remember seeing another new tool option that did have the sponsons...but can't be 100%. I do not recall ever seeing a US SeaKing without said sponsons.
I do know that there are a LOT of variations between the SeaKings....and variations with each variant!

LOL, using this old tool i make a little chaos :) the correct way to build the norvegian was to use the revell kit but i keep it for the italian version (and the fujimi was the better way to build it..) :giggles:

Main differences between westland and sikorsky are about engines , exhausts, windows etc..

At the end imho, in 1/72 scale, use the revell for the westland versions and the fujimi for sikorsky and agusta versions.
Sikorsky sh-3 also have the cyber hobby choice but it's a too expensive kit for me.
After just check pictures of desired unit for details, rwr , radars, antennas etc

I think (i hope) the nex airfix tool will be released (i hope soon) with side floats , so you have more choice for westland versions
