I have no idea. We're still getting Tamiya, Academy and others so I don't think that's it.

Scalehobbyist has Mr. Color paints in stock. No Super Metallics though I had to break down and grab a couple of AK Interactive 3rd Gen metallics and the Vallejo metallic (Magnesium). Didn’t want to grab Alclad due to their high prices.

Well my LHS has had AK Xtreme Metal on stock and I used on the YF-19 and really liked them. Gonna get some more.

I have been working on the Razors Crest. I decided not to gloss coat but to use inks to highlight the panels instead of my usual oil wash. I thin the inks with water and a tiny bit of dishwashing liquid. That breaks surface tension and improves flow. I used GW Black Ink and brown India ink from the stationary shop. The ink is very subtle so some lines and panels got multiple layers.
I used undiluted brown and blue ink on the exhausts to get a “heated metal” (annealed?) look.

Next step is to pick out a few panels and change the shade by polishing with grafite powder or drybrushing. The build is a bit to clean at the moment.

I've never actually seen the The Mandalorian as I'm too tight to pay for netflix (or is it Disney?) but this is a cool looking ship.
