As you drop weight, your knee won’t bother you as much.

That's what I'm hoping, although it's always caused me problems. I have an odd kneecap that sometimes gets stuck in the wrong place, so it sprains quite easily.

Yeah I’ve got a trick knee myself. Thankfully it hasn’t acted up in a long time.

Ive had a bad left knee for quite some time. Bone on bone issues. Gone to physical therapy twice after each work accident. Fell on the job after missing the last step one Father's Day weekend. Workman Comp paid for it.

The missus keeps telling me to drop some pounds some knee won't be sore/aches. I hate to admit but she's is right. I'm trying my best to cut back and exercise often.

   That’s arguable. Since I retired I’m not in the shape that I used to be in compared to 6 years ago. My endurance and conditioning is nowhere near what it was. Plus a few other things have come to notice in the meantime as well. :headslap: But I’m pretty sure that it beats the alternative.

Welcome to the club Tom!

I heard someone say once that you know you're getting old, when you can go to bed fine and wake up with a sprained ankle!

Do this and this for year after year and you’ll have back and knee problems… :hmm: neck too

Most any combat arms role will give you joint and back problems :headbang:
