As you drop weight, your knee won’t bother you as much.

That's what I'm hoping, although it's always caused me problems. I have an odd kneecap that sometimes gets stuck in the wrong place, so it sprains quite easily.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2026 11:21 amAs you drop weight, your knee won’t bother you as much.

That’s arguable. Since I retired I’m not in the shape that I used to be in compared to 6 years ago. My endurance and conditioning is nowhere near what it was. Plus a few other things have come to notice in the meantime as well.
But I’m pretty sure that it beats the alternative.
Welcome to the club Tom!BlackSheep214 wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2026 8:07 am Ive had a bad left knee for quite some time. Bone on bone issues. Gone to physical therapy twice after each work accident. Fell on the job after missing the last step one Father's Day weekend. Workman Comp paid for it.
The missus keeps telling me to drop some pounds some knee won't be sore/aches. I hate to admit but she's is right. I'm trying my best to cut back and exercise often.
Do this and this for year after year and you’ll have back and knee problems…BlackSheep214 wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2026 8:07 am Ive had a bad left knee for quite some time. Bone on bone issues.
