Jeff, the owner of Rare-PlaneDetective, said he noticed the yellowing and such, but thought they would be okay. They don't update the website pictures very regularly. There is an article out there on this guy and he readily admits to not building models, ever. I am not surprised then that he did not know about the decals likely being unusable.

He did refund the full amount immediately. So, he handled it properly.

We are stalled. I think I mentioned it crashed to the floor again...nose first, again. So, all that has to be repaired, again. Even the wife asked about it. I'm getting somewhat more in the mood to get back on it. . . and I will. I promise. Its current state is: painted, started on decals (with help from friends), painting up the odd bits and pieces. So, it isn't that far from being done.

You know I was thinking about this build just yesterday and thought I'd ask you how this one is coming along Lyle. Any news or updates on this bad boy?

It is gathering dust at a decent pace. Haven't been to the bench in months. Not sure why, but.....Mostly, what is left are all the fiddly things, decals (need to print them) and fixing the nose again. I appreciate you asking. It does keep it in mind.
