this was my car and it's actually the true inspiration for this build. These pics were taken in 1985 with an old Kodak Disk camera and although grainy, here's pictures my very first car. I've given thought a time or two getting the ol' girl back from the current owner as I know right where shes at..............rotting away in a field.







and the mildly hot rodded 318 V-8 I built for it.....

I may yet and put it back out at my parents place. I have no place for it right now.

I'd say you should get it soon too, even if it needs to stay at your parents place. There's no excuse for a classic like that to be rusting away in a field. Besides, you'd be fulfilling a dream most guys have: buying their first car back and restoring it!

Really cool looking car that - love the photos, Kodak disc eh? I remember them.

I'd say do it if you can (it's not my money after all ). That would be pretty cool to own your first car again - especailly if it's still got the engine in it that you modded.

Thanks Stuart! I think that motor is long gone. The last time I saw it , it didn't have a motor in it.

Ok this finally came in the mail. The Hemi engine in the restored car has a Hillborn Fuel Injection set up in it so............ I ordered it. It came in a couple of days ago. I still need to get stuff like spark plug wires and all that though.
