I was able to paint up the opposite side today before work. I'll try to get that side glued on after I get home so I can paint the outer surface tomorrow... and maybe add more of the last few little bits to the upper hull.

Today's update...

tracks on both sides... yay!



and the outer surfaces painted... wait for it... Humbrol "Track Colour"... I'm serious, that is the color name... a nice dirty grayish brown...



now all I need to do is dry brush on some steel onto the outer surface and then I can glue the upper hull in place... I also added some more detail parts to the turret and upper hull...

Wow, seriously wow, Carlos! Great progress. The view of the first completed track on the previous page is stunning. I mean, that track looks incredible. I was trying to do a crash course in Tamiya T-55 builds to gain better context of your work here, than I just threw that out because your work is the best context ever.

You're far too kind Bruce. I'm just doing good old fashioned model building here, nothing fancy. No modulation, no hairspray, no interactive, no chipping... etc. etc. etc....

Track color is an old color of Humbrol's that the discontinued many years ago. But recently they brought it back. Now if they do the same for French Artillery Olive and Brown Bess I'll be very happy!
