Ahh nevermind. I was looking to do a F-4 from VMFA-323 Death Rattlers and I knew that Furball had some but it's a F-4B, not a J.

You can always do what I'm doing and piece together some markings from 10 different sheets...

Yeah I'd rather not go that route. The kit obviously comes with decals but they're for the Jolly Rogers and I don't want to do that one. It's over done if you ask me.

I love the f-4 and really like following your build.
Does anyone have an idea of the meaning of the blue/white/red bars on the fin ? I noticed the same feature on f-100s

in my simple world....just ask my grand kids! These are known in slang as "slime lights". I believe they are a glow-in-the-dark material and used for night formation flying to aid in positioning.
Some one fill in the blanks.

I saw the same 3 colours band also on the f-100 but just below the cockpit, could it be related to ANG birds ?

The ribbon indicates that the unit in question was awarded with the "US Air Force Outstanding Unit Award".
