After watching that I spent an entire week adding “sir” to every spoken sentence. “Good day, sir,” “Pass the salt, sir,” “Over easy, sir,” “Go jump in a lake, sir.” Anyway, once again: “Thank you, kind sirs.”

The
feeling of the materials joined together—
Having thought about the challenge of adding engraved details to the sides I am going to try a different approach. Usually the primer goes down first. I decided to draw on the details fairly well, but not rigorously perfect. Where called for, I used the adhesive edge of a square Post-It to make straight lines. I used an .05mm mechanical pencil (Pentel Super Polymer lead) to sketch the vertical rib framework, then switched to a .03 Molotov cocktail marking pen in black to sketch the paneling lines in. Again, I offer these notes only as I am exploring an idea which I feel may work; however there is always the possibility of failure, I freely admit that, sirs! Forsooth!
I do not have a photo yet, however, I made a sketch of the in-flight fueling probe covering sections—
I plan to spray a light coat of either white or grey primer. What I hope will happen is this will fix the marker lines as well as reduce them somewhat for me to use the lines as a scribing template. We shall see, sir. We... shall... see.
I only did one side, so if this goes, uh, “sideways,” I can still sand everything down again.
