High class modeling's going on in here.
I make a lot of notes for my future build, can learn some very useful insider stuff in this thread. :writing:

Oh, and I really like that scheme!

Thanks Mostrich. But why put off in the future what you can build now?! Bust out that Phantom man!

Quick little update via mobile technology! ...aka I'm too busy to be better organized. I got most of the little bits and the ordinance glued on, and the Phantom got its Phlat coat. I'm debating re-glossing the black radome, as its a bit flat looking now compared to real pics. I just have to attach the outer gas bags and the gun pod, attach the canopies and it'll be done...Then on to the F-4G :dancing:

That looks GREAT!!!

For that radome...I think a gloss might be a bit much (gloss never looks "right" to me, in scale). Maybe just buff it with a soft cloth, to give it a bit of a sheen(???).

Thanks Fermis, you're probably right. I was thinking more of a semi-gloss, but i'll look over some ref pics...maybe I'll leave it alone. The whole model was sealed with a Satin Varnish, so its not quite flat, but still duller than a semi-gloss.
