P-51 D 10NA Tamiya 1/32

Post by ajcmac »

This is another model already started for some time and then returned to the box  . I decided to try to finish it.
It is a model of Tamiya in 1/32 scale. A P-51 D-10Na.

I intend to do with the colors of Yoxford Boys "Ol Flak Joe." I will use a decals sheet EagleCals.

Think ive got that same decal sheet. Got it for the dragon 5NA which doesnt have the fillet on the tail. Which was such a bad kit i gave up, might see about getting this kit and trying again for my first 32nd scale kit.

Watching eagerly to see how you get on.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

After all those high-vis silver birds your olive drab one should look nice. Any progress so far aside from the box shot?

This decals sheet gives to three versions. A P-51-D-5DN, 10-DN and 15-DN for models of Dragon and Hasegawa. They will serve as just I want the decal Ol Flak Joe. The rest will be completed with the decals from Tamiya and I will paint the yellow and red squares :hmm: .

I had to leave and could not continue the posting.

As already said this is a model that was started a long time. Following the instructions glued and painted the engine.

Wow! Looking good! :shoutout:
What colour did you the Merlin engine? I like the matte black and the nice sheen on the structures.

Thanks Thomas and Stikpusher.

Thomas

I painted the engine with the XF-1 Tamiya.

I applied after Dark Brown pigments and finally graphite powder taken from a HB pencil and then ground.

Thank JimD.

After I finished the interiors.
