1:48 Sopwith 1B1

Post by Cherrylock »

The 1B1 was the licence verion of the 1½ Strutter, a early bomber of the RFC, there are different positions of the gun, the 1B1 has had only one pilot, the britsh have pilot and rear gunner or co pilot as a trainer.

The Roden kit has nice details, the fit is good, but not the same as the nice Eduard kits.

You have a talent for those Biplanes CL.

What color did you use? Sand? Special Yellow mix? That looks really nice.

thanks.

it is Revell 312 with little bit of yellow, the frensh have this yellow fabric, the german white with little bit brown, RFC more like light sand...thats what I found by looking for the right colors..it is not so easy, there are only black/white pictures and lot of people with differnt opertunities what is right.
