Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk 1a

I've had this on the bench since Wednesday of this week.

So I'm starting my Spitfire project. The first on to the bench is this:

This one will be from 610 Sqdn at Biggin Hill in 1940.

I've used a mix of Eduard and kit items in the cockpit.

I wonder why you painted some areas of the wing´s inside in black?

The inside of the wings painted black are where the gun ports are.

That is reviewed to be a very nice kit. Especially for the price. How do you like it?

Looks great there in planform Daz! Especially with a coat of paint on the lowers!
