painting the little guy. First primed with Tamiya White Surface Primer, then painted using Testors Acryl Marine Colors: Schiffsbodenfarbe III and Schnellbootweiss. Detail painting done with Humbrol Enamels
and compared with my Revell Germany 1/350 Type VII C U Boot

Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
Yesterday I airbrushed on a coat of Future
Decals applied today... in case you are wondering, the Flotilla Panther is from the kit decals, but the commanders initials are cut apart, letter by letter, from 1/35 ammunition stencils from a Dragon figure set [:|]
to get an idea how small this stuff is, here is a US Nickle for comparison

speechless. Wow.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
The 2nd speechless ! :-)
Amazing, so tiny, those smallest pieces cannot be more than 1 or 2 mm wide ?

Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
that little "c" is definitely around 1mm sized... It was the most challenging to place and orient properly

Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
You airbrushed this tiny S-Boot with Future? This is small enough to be covered by a single drip...
Nice detail to have the KCK letters applied!

Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
Yes, but it took a few extra drops... I still have to do washes on this little baby, so the whole thing needed the few drops of Future that I could spare from bigger projects.

Re: Bronco 1/350 Schnellboot
I finally made some near final progress on my Schnellboot today. Washes and tints applied and cleaned up...
Tomorrows plan is flat coat, drybrushing, and call this one done...

Is this the stand the finished build will rest on?
