Four More Vehicle Models from the Duke

Despite the rough month, I managed to finish off these four vehicles and deploy them with my armies.

First up is this 1/72 scale German SS-100 Gigant tractor I built to tow my V-2 Rocket:





Since I had this tractor, I needed the trailer for it to use to carry the rocket. Here is my 1/72 scale Mitraellierwagen holding the V-2 Rocket:





Finally, a shot of them together. Away they go to my launch site:



While my German Army deals with that monstrosity, my Canadians took delivery of another little 1/72 scale Chevy 15CWT truck. This one has a wooden bed; the first one had a steel bed on it:





You can see they put it right to work already.

Finally, my Japanese Army took delivery of their own truck. This one is a 1/72 scale 3.5-ton Fuel Truck I built for them to fuel their tanks:







That's all I have for now. This brings my small scale vehicle count up to 687 small scale vehicles completed. I also have some aircraft and ships completed in the Aircraft and Ships Forums, feel free to check them out as well.

Nice additions to your motor pool and launch pad. And all of them are not "more of the same". Your rough month has been way more fruitful than mine...

Thanks Carlos! I do like to change it up a bit. I do still have some modern Russian equipment under construction, as well as a couple other vehicles. I'll probably be starting a couple WWII German vehicles next. They'll be my last for awhile; I'm seeing so many people building WWII German vehicles and frankly, I'm getting a little tired of seeing them all. Granted the other modeler's work is far better than mine, but still.... Makes me believe that the only reason small scale companies are only putting out WWII German vehicles is because that's all any of these small scale builders are building!


Okay, mini-rant off. Time to get ready for the San Diego contest.

I hear ya. the only reason I am building that Panzer IV now is because of the AMPS build... and even then I have no real drive to get it done in spite of being a Tamiya old easy kit... Good luck in San Diego!
