Citroen traction avant - Ace 1/72

Post by BsYamato »

My first entry for this section
This little kit was brought as scenary part for the fw-200 diorama ,as the diorama is located in france a friend give me the idea to not use usual kubelwaghen or swimmwaghen (i hope correct name) as staff car :)
I started this kits lots of month ago but few sessions of real work

Box'n'sprues

Image

Image

it's a short run kit

Image

Image

main parts glued ,as you can see with 5cent it's a real tiny affair :)

Image

Image

correction on the "cowling"

Image

Seats ,bumbers and other micro pieces on

Image

primed with vallejo primer

the body after lots of sanding

And last night starting to paint seriously the car with italeri acrilics and an old lifecolor for seats. On the nose added a stretched sprue rod to replace original detail gone with the sanding

Great BsYamato! This is a nice project to follow!

Do you have any pics of the diorama with the FW-200 ? Sounds very interesting !

Oh No....BSY couldn't be happy painting and detailing little bitty planes - noooo, Now he does cars that look like they could drive off. . . and two houses to boot. Nice job BSY, this will be a mighty fine piece of work when finished up.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
