I figured this little guy would be a good way to get back into the swing of things. Like others in the series, its pretty much a snap fit and I'm not expecting any problems!

Box n sprues! Very simple kit, not many parts. But the decal sheet is actually pretty darn comprehensive, with full markings and stencils.



In no time at all, I had a plane!

Though I am a bit suprised by all the setencilling. Those Japanese are always serious, even with egg planes.

Not much clean up was required, just removing some fingerprints... Then it was on to paint!

I didn't feel like powering up the air-conditioning, so I'll be hand painting this.

First coat on, and second color masked.

Is that ordinary painters masking tape? Doesn't that come off when painted over?
