Takom 1/35 AMX-13/75

Well-- Squadron had this on sale for $20 so I jumped on it...looking to build her up in scheme D from the decal sheet....
Assembly is going pretty smoothly-- some delicate parts to be sure...I've been careful to relieve stress on the sprues before actually cutting the part out. Here is my work through the first few steps:
And a nice touch by Takom- the tires for the road wheels are separate which makes them hella easier to paint!
Some progress despite the oppressive heat as of late...
Pretty much all fiddly bits on and paint sprayed. Need to add the tires to the road wheels and assemble tracks yet...then finish assembly and start weathering...

Not much holding them together...and when I brushed on the cement to try to weld them together initially, they still fell apart when fixing them on...every time I tried to fix something, another part came free...needless to say, I am happy it's done...it's not perfect, but its done. Now that everything is set I may try a bit more fine tuning...
