a shame, have not build any Gripen in 1:48, one of figher often seen on airshows but not in my collection

thanks Kari,
build the Esci Viggen long time ago in ligh and dark gray, and one on stash that should be a splitter camo bird...sometimes, no build Draken but 2 on stash with decalsheets...for sometimes later...you know this :giggles:

South African aircraft aren’t modelled that often. Cool to see one!

Or a (still) What-if and build a Finnish version...

Finland is soon making a decision, what will be the new fighters, replacing the current F/A-18 Hornets.
The Gripen is one alternative, others are: F/A-18 Super Hornet, Dassault Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon and the F-35.

It will be a big deal, the airforce will need 64 fighters..

Nice choices for Finland. Although the F-35 is a very expensive aircraft. I watched an episode of Air Warriors on the F-35 not too long ago. I personally don't like the looks of the F-35. Too futuristic for my taste.
