Got to spend the day talking and hanging with John Steinman and the Vermont crew...the show switches every year between NY and VT...this year was the Vermont side of Lake Champlain....which meant an extra half hour of driving, but well worth it.
I ended up getting 1st, 2nd, and two 3rds out of six builds....
Aircraft....
And this one was hand painted in the Junior category...nicely done--
Dioramas....
John and I were admiring these scratchbuilt trees....
Misc....
Autos and Trucks....

I won second in trucks for my GMC 6X6 towing the wrecked SBD...
Figures....these weren't winners as far as I know....some weird one from The Thing won first....
I brought my Trench Walker on a temporary base just for kicks and got third place
Looks like a nice mix of subjects at the show. And plenty of fine builds there. Congrats to you on your awards!
What does CANAMCON stand for?
"Surely I have made my meaning plain? I intend to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I have deprived your ship of power, and when I swing 'round, I intend to deprive you of your life."
Congrats on the well deserved wins and thanks for posting these excellent photos. I love seeing pics from other shows.
