The Duke Finishes Another Armor

Post by Duke Maddog »

This is actually a Shelf Queen I found when I was cleaning the desk. All it needed was for the rocket to be added to the launcher and some detail painting to be done. Supposedly it has decals to add but I can't find them or the instruction sheet so I'm calling it done now. It ain't very good but it's done so here it is:

Hey...it is done. And from the shelf of someday.

I did that kit. I like your color scheme better than mine. Trumpeter SA-2 right?
Thanks,

Isn’t that the old Airfix kit Mark? It sure looks better than when I built one of those long ago! Well done :shoutout:

Thanks Lyle! Yes, it is done and I'm glad it is!

Thanks Kevin and Carlos! This is an Eastern European, 1/72 scale short run/limited run kit. Cooperativa I think is the name of the model company. It's been so long since I've seen the box or instruction sheet that I forgot the name of the company, but I think that's it. I never knew Airfix had done an SA-2 on a launcher; I always thought it was only on the truck transporter.

Thanks again guys!

Looks nice but I wouldn't want it following me too close.
