1/48 SB2U-3 Vindicator

Post by Paul »

I figured I would go with this unsung hero.

So I started by filling in the most obvious issue, the huge sink mark in the fuselage. I sanded it a bit and shot some primer over it to see if I need to do more FSR.

I also spent some time masking the canopies and assembled and painted the engine.

Not much done today but maybe more to come by Thursday.

Double dog ditto...............^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Looks good, Paul.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

That is looking great. A pity that Accurate Miniatures went bust. I think it was because of their line of car models, especially the licensing fees and slow sales of the McLaren kit.

Nice kit subject! :yipee: Which particular boxing/variant is it? :?:

Very nice Paul. I look forward to your progress. I miss Accurate Miniatures too. Academy boxes a few of these beauties with very inflated prices to boot.

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley
