Man I really want that kit but the biplane phobia keeps stopping me. Looking forward to you build Tom.
Thanks,

Got three of them. I gone know why. Someday..

Re: Revell Stearman PT-17
Don't have any EZ Line for this one so I've been busy last night stretching grey sprues for my rigging wires. Instruction guide has measuring guide for lengths of various rigging lines. Easy enough.

Good luck. That is the bane of many a model builder. If you have a contact that plays the guitar, old strings work pretty well, too.

Re: Revell Stearman PT-17
I agree with Lyle. I've used very small guitar string for rigging, and it works really good. Drill your mounting holes, cut the steel wire just a bit longer than needed, slip one into one hole, then the other end into the other hole with a dab of CA. Heck, you know how, why am I typin' this?!?

Now that's a very nice subject choice!

Gary, I know where most of the rigging spots go. The only one I need to research more is from fuselage to upper wings - 4 per side

Re: Revell Stearman PT-17
Researched the color inside of fuselage - not the cockpit and framework. Suppose to be off white. I chose Doped Linen instead. Good enough for me...

Looks appropriate.
