It’s almost Christmas and I want presents.

Talk about anything modeling: kits, tools, paint, etc...

Hey SPAM! I’m debating buying either the 1/28 Revell Sopwith plus Tom’s Details plus Uli the Rooster’s Cabling or the 1/32 Wingnut Wingers Sopwith Camel plus Uli the Rooster’s Cabling. Any thoughts either way?

The Revell kit dates to the mid 60's and is fun for nostalgia. Wing Nut Wings at a decent price is much the better choice unless you are looking for a simple and fun build, and if that's the case don't add any AM to the Revell kit.

John, Thanks for your advice. I think building the Revell kit box stock will help me get back into building kits. The only issue may be the age of the decals.

You could look for a new issue of the kit. That will have better decals.
