Thanks for sharing this. Man, I didn’t realize there was so much packed in there. Years ago, Sentimental Journey came to town and I got to help with walk thoughts. Met a ball turret gunner, now an elderly gentleman and his wife. He was small in stature and wearing his uniform. His wife was so proud of him.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I took this photo in the ball turret of a B-17 at the Pima Air & Space museum… yeah it’s pretty cramped in there…
