Two V-8s end to end...

Detroit Diesel for a big tractor rig? Maybe road construction equipment? That's a tough question, Lyle!

Thats a 71 series? Detroit desiel 2 stroke v16?
Im not good with engines but a quick googles turned up a 16V-71.
Earlier inline models were used in the landing craft on D-day. The V models came in in the 50s and were used primary for big rigs, RV's, busses etc. Long hall highway vehicles.

Not a big rig, bus, etc. but I think you are headed in the right direction. Not military, either.

I’ve done this one. Right general industry, though.
