1/48 Dromander

Post by keavdog »

Maybe an Air Tractor next??? Don't think I've built an IBG kit - but this plane falls into so ugly I have to have it.

Mt French 75 from early last year was an IBG kit. Very nice product. :hmm:

Great to hear Stik.

Very excited about the firefighter version... may have to get a couple of these

“IBG Models is entering 1/48 domain! Our first aircraft in this scale, prepared in cooperation with Grand models, will hit the stores in 2025. PZL M18 Dromader in single and two-seater (pilot and mechanic) versions in agricultural, firefighting and even military configurations, reproduced with great accuracy and attention to detail. More info about this and out other projects for 2025 coming soon”………………………………………………………….IBG

some cad renderings on from https://aeroscale.net/news/pzl-m18-dromader-planned

That will be a big'un in 1/48. I hope they do more ag and fire stuff too. The Snow/Air Tractor are great subjects. I have a friend who used to fly a Garrett powered 802 in fire work.

I always thought surplused A-10s would make good crop-dusters, or fire bombers too. I watched two perform an amazing routine at an airshow in Waco. They could get right down on top o' that cotton or sorghum!
