Around the holidays I decided I needed a simple build. And Tamiya's older armor kits are brilliant for scratching that itch. Enter the Challenger 1.

I was doing pretty solid with armor up until we moved in late 2011. Up to that point my build cadence was generally one armor kit and one aircraft kit on the go at any one time. Then I completely fell off the armor wagon. Only built two (finished off a T-34 and built Panda's 1/16 Pz.38) from Dec. 2011 to Dec. 2013...

The Challenger has rekindled some interest...

Can't help it, I have a soft spot for British armour, especially when it comes down to Chieftains and Challengers.
