1/72 Dragon F4F Wildcat

Post by Fermis »

WIP is here....http://www.spamodeler.com/forum/viewtop ... f=20&t=745

Finished w/ MM enamels, wash and pastels.
Kit's not terrible...only real drawback is that there really isn't much for a joining surface for the folded wing. I came up with a two pin system that locks the wings in place (no glue required).

Another home run! Looks like you snatched Kermit Weeks F4 and shrank it....
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

awwww, it's all folded up!
Every take-off has a landing...some are just better than others

:yikes:
Wow...the wing-fold looks great and the colors are amazing...perfect balance of fading and paneling detail!!!

I love your Wildcat and want to unfold its wings, launch from the USS Hornet and shoot down a gaggle of Jap Val's...
