Re: Airfix 1/48 Lysander mk.I/mk.III
Thanks Gents - it's been enjoyable thus far. Alas I didn't get any painting done as I fell asleep (well passed out tbh) on our bed in front of the fan - we've been having a heatwave here in the UK and I think I had a bit of heat exhaustion. :whiteflag: :stinky:  Lyle, I've built a few too in t...

Airfix 1/48 Lysander mk.I/mk.III
Hi Gents! Because my Birthday is at the end of May, we often put Father's day off for a few weeks to spread out the celebrations - so for me, Father's day was the Sunday just gone and my lovely daughter got me this to play with (along with a rather nice £30 quid bottle of local wine and some chocs)....

Re: What's on your work bench atm ?
Ah nice, I see where you're going with that - but no, It's actually Airfix's rather nice interior structure for the Westland Lysander I started building last week. The detail and the fit is superb. :wow: https://medievalrocks454853129.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/img_2876.jpg I'll get a...

Really nice Mike - that'll really add to the detail.Medicman71 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2026 6:39 pm Working on decaling the Nu Gundam. I've got several Gundams that I've gotten water slide decals for lately.

Re: Academy 1/35 M3A1, USMC Bougainville
Stuart, the Academy Honey Stuart in a Caunter scheme is is high on my intended to build list after this project. But I need a breather before that project. After all, it was you Brits who first took the M3 into combat in 1941, before the US even was in officially in the war ;) I didn't know that bu...

Re: The Children of Doom
Good to see another shelf Queen on the go Carlos. Interesting what you say about the drive Sprockets, I had a similar issue on my Chieftain when trying to fit AM tracks. The teeth were far too large. I actually wonder if that was intended by Tamiya, in order to beef it up for motorisation.
