Thanks mlp, thats what im hoping. Ive never done ordinance before. Im generally a ww2 or display aircraft kinda guy and i prefer to give them a "clean" look. This should be interesting.
You can learn all the math in the 'Verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Looks great. My favorite jet...

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley

Thanks Joe. Mines the Intruder followed closely by the Tomcat.
We all know the Gau-8 is the feature here. The plane is just an accessory. :yipee: lol

The A-10 is sure one of my favorites. I made three tries on this Tamiya kit. Back in 1984 (age 11) then in 2005 and again in 2013. It's an old dog, lots of trashing bla...bla...but alway's love building it again! I think its the only model that I have made three times. Here's two of them if you dont mind me sharing

beautiful! I like the A-10, too. Neat a/c.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Very nice. Thanks for those, inspiration to get more done on mine. Im nearly ready to decal. I wanted to get everything painted and clear coated before i started. Ive got the insides of bits left to do and thats about it. And then weapons, lots and lots of weapons lol.

Thanks guys. I had a bit of a woopsy moment over the weekend. I sprayed the red on the tail and i couldnt figure out why is wasnt spraying right, it would spraying like id thickened the paint, rather than thinned it. When i finally got the red down i want to unhook my airbrush and it turns out i was spraying at about 15psi instead of 30. I also didnt mask enough of the tail and had some overspray, easily cleaned up with a quick wipe from some IPA. Almost everythings painted now. Just weapons, the ladder and the ladder hatch interior to be painted. I want going to start decals tonight, but now ive got to get a tooth pulled. Joyful days :pod: .
