yeah, it did, but its actually the next thing on the table. I had to get a club project finished, so now that's done, the Mitchel should get MUCH more attention! My next step is to scratch the dorsal turret.Manny1943 wrote:Hmmmm...looks like this MOJO got pushed to the back-burner...

At the risk of showing my age............first thing I thought of when you asked your question was a quote by Lucy about Snoopy in the Halloween special : "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."CallSignOWL wrote:Speaking of, whatever happened to Hammer?Sprue-ce Goose wrote:

but I digress............
I've always presumed that HvH might be living under a government supplied, assumed identity ................perhaps one which has nothing to do with old Monogram kits- for his own protection from the anti-Monogram mob . "yeahright:
I do not know why HvH stopped posting or if he is OK............
I just hope the VA didn't do him in.

Re: Glutton for Punishment - B-25 Mitchell
i can never work on this when I want! bah.
but Ive got an update (finally!)
kit only included a little clear dome and twigs sticking out of it to represent the top turret. No Bueno. So, here Ive scratched some better detail

Made the little tunnel under the pit for the nose gunner/bombardier, but that left a little space to add....you guessed it! some nose weight! Little split sinkers did the trick for me. just kind of--mooshed--them to shape

here is the turret area all together

I decided internal detail was finished, so Off to the paint shop!! Here is a quick black coat applied. Serves as a primer/pre-shade. wasnt too worried about full coverage

Ive let that sit over night, so more painting today!
