Thanks Kari and Silvia - Been trying to create a WIP i was still lacking some good progress photos of the build. LoL
Here is a profile of the starboard fuselage. the Shinmeiwa is relatively long in length. The surface is covered with very fine raised rivets and panel lines. Indonesian modelers just hate these type of models.
Here is what the two fuselage are mated. This is still just dry fitting. I am trying to get a sense of the quality of the fitting, since its an old kit and heard a lot on the web about is not expecting too much on the fitting quality.
This is the fuselage after the top and bottom part is joint together. i should have strengthen the joints with extra styrene bit, but I didnt. So I just have to make do with carefully aligning the two halves and gluing them with Tamiya extra thin cement. i am a bit nervous trying hard not to spill any glue on to the fine rivets and panel lines.
