Looking good, Lyle! There is always a benefit/cost analysis done in my head when working with the small aftermarket stuff, both PE and resin. Sometimes I'll do it just for the heck of it even if it won't be seen. Other times, I'll leave some fiddly bits off. There are some really tiny bits on the Tempest engine that I'm not going to add.

I notice gouges on your sanding marks. You may want to use a less coarse grade of sanding material since the gouges themselves will require removal and hence more work.

Thanks, John. I understand perfectly your thought on the aftermarket stuff! That is what I’m doing with this. That and how my hands feel...

Scuffing marks have been dealt with. I really did not use a very coarse grit. Not sure why they were so prominent. I really appreciate your advice. All you fellers have so much to offer!

If you can make out individual scratches left by the sandpaper, I would say that is a sign that the grade is too coarse.

Good point. Between fine grits Ang 0000 steel wool, they were beat into submission.

Okie dokie...Here are a few pictures from the iPhone. Looks like it will suffice for now. Getting ready to glue in the cabin floor and try to close this up. I did order 4-blade props from Australia...they will be here in ?????. I'm thinking a week to 10 days.





Some of the wings, cowl flaps and such. Still some work to do around the nacelles.
