Lyle, Here's the first issue box art courtesy scalemates. Licensing bs, of course, can't put that on the current box. As for the D-7, the 7 had 4 cylinders, the 8 always has 6, but they were the same size cylinders on each. The 8 was 1246 cu. in., and made 100 horsepower in the WW II 1H D-8. The 7 was 831 cu inches. The bore and stroke on both engines was 5 3/4 X 8. They both topped ouit around 1000 rpm. Not too fast in the quarter mile!

Yes, John. I got some of them and they are a big improvement. They are from Jon Stiles, jws1947@centurytel.net Very accurate and sturdy metal tracks, all assembled save the master pin to join them after installation of the track frame, and very good instructions.

As you guys probably know, this has individual vinyl track links that snap together. Seem to have decent reviews. I guess we will see!

just poking along on this one....
As is customary, I have had to reattach a few things and make a couple.

Thanks! No, I've not seen that one. Looks interesting, though.

Great start on your dozer Lyle. It’s so yellow!
