Tom, is the part deformed? short shot? I see what Carlos is seeing here on the leading edge. Is there a way to repair or rework this to make it work? I could see using some Milliput to create a smooth edge, perhaps?

I think part B9 was a deformed part as you said. Definitely missing a chunk of a brace of sorts as Stik commented on.

I have an idea but it will take some creative work. That's why I always have spare parts saved.

Haven’t looked to see. Highly doubt they’ll have spares since the kit is dated 2005 as stamped on the sprues.

I gave up. Contacted AFV Club Support site in the UK for request of replacement parts with photo. Hopefully, they can be of some help. We’ll see what kind of response I get in 2 days.

This one is heading to the Shelf of Doom temporarily until I receive my replacement parts. The AFV a support has contacted me via email and asked for a photo. I re sent the photo again. They were apologetic of the defective part though. I’m hopeful they will come through and do me right.

I am expecting my order from Scalehobbyist to arrive anytime soon. A couple days away from the bench would do me good to recharge.
