Airfix 1/35 Ferret
Re: Airfix 1/35 Ferret
“Frank” us looking good.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Stuart, that is looking really good!
After seeing your work here, I will say this is a build that sells the kit. I want one!

I'd get one if you can Carlos, it is a really nice little kit - yes it has a couple of minor fit issues, as is the case with Airfix, but it's nothing 10 minutes and a bit of filler can't fix. If you need more detail then Scorpion Models do some nice sets https://www.scorpion-miniature-models.co.uk/shop?page=2. I'll be building another at some point, as I have their replacement wheel set, plus the interior and exterior detail sets.

Believe you me Stuart, one of each type will eventually find their way into my stash someday
It only took me a decade or so to get the new tool Hurricane Mk.I

I hope so, and I do hope you manage to get your hands on the Stalwart and (when it comes out) the Saracen as well. Yeah the Stalwart has a few issues that need to be fixed by some AM, but it's a good looking kit. The Saracen looks very nice from the 3D renders - and a full interior. Its nice to see British Cold War subjects getting some love.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 11:02 am Believe you me Stuart, one of each type will eventually find their way into my stash someday...
Yep, that's about right for an Airfix Delivery.Stikpusher wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2026 11:02 am It only took me a decade or so to get the new tool Hurricane Mk.I![]()
