Thanks, Carlos. Are the pieces all from the same kit? It’s hard to tell but the fuse halves are darker in color, which could be as a result of sanding which removed the gloss surface. Perhaps bad QC from Hasegawa.

For filling big gaps, styrene shims are my preferred method. Putty doesn’t have the same lasting power.

Today was good progress on my Johnson Jug… I got the seam filling all cleaned up and sanded smooth

Then after that I added the horizontal stabilizers and a few other small bits to finish up the main airframe construction

I have the cowling almost wrapped up and ready to add to the airframe. Next week, more progress… ;)
