Looks like a fun kit and an interesting subject. You are making good progress on it. I like how they did the fuselage frame. Keep up the good work my friend!
LOL! Just seems to be the way Chris. Not helped by the fact that I couldn't get on the boards for a few days. :bored:

It's a great little kit. Not perfect but a lot of fun. I'll certainly build another.

But.....WHITE GLUE...

LOL! Well actually Glue-n-Glaze Greg but essentially white PVA glue yes.

Although as it happens, I had to strip it all down anyway as the wing tab wasn't 100% flat and threw out the upper clear parts. Also I couldn't get the windscreen to fit right, so I did actually put it together with Tamiya in the end, which is my normal go-to as well.

Just for kicks I fitted the wings (now finished) and the struts. This is all held together with gravity, the attachments points for the struts are really positive.

I've also filled and cleaned up the spats, although I do need to replace the step on the top of the spats that I removed during sanding.

Looking good! You gotta love the new tool Airfix kits. They have really stepped up their game.

Thanks!

It's a very nice one indeed Kari, I'm looking forward to getting some paint in it.

Thanks Carlos. They really have, I hear good things about the new 1/48 Jaguar and the upcoming 1/48 Phantom.

Thanks Tom - only held on by gravity at the moment, as I'll paint them separately. I'm just waiting for my canopy mask set to arrive.
