Hey, thank you guys for the comments!

Thanks on the book suggestion, Thud Ridge. Will try to scoop around and see if one is on the market. Sounds like an out-of-print book.

Nathant - I've seen the box content of HB version. The box is full of plastic and I even noticed that the fuselage came in four pieces.

Jim - I have a couple of old Revell-Monogram, and Hasegawa kits waiting in line or in current progress to be completed. I'll post my complete 1/48 Revell F-101B hopefully tomorrow, and another 1/84 Revell F-84F down the line, maybe before April is over *fingers crossed.

Monty, that is one beautiful Thud! My favorite Vietnam aircraft, bar none. Like several others here have mentioned, I read "Thud Ridge" as a youngster, and that started me on my affair with that bird. I have seen them up close and personal at a few air shows and museums, but unfortunately never have seen one fly in person... Excellent work sir! :shoutout:

Come on over! I am about 1.5 hours from the USAF National Museum.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
