Started spraying the grays last night. After priming with Mr. Surfacer 1500, I sprayed the nose and metal tail areas with Gunze Gloss Black. While that was drying, I tested out some Gunze H 306 with a bit of H 308 light ghost gray mixed in. Before all this I painted the intakes gloss white and masked them off:









In the mean time, I sprayed the resin exhaust with Alclad Jet exhaust and some burnt Iron:







Seats painted with Vallejo Model colors:







Ordinance will be 2 AIM-9Js and 2 Sparrows, outer tanks, and a centerline SUU-23 gun pod. Travel pods will hang underneath the AIM-9 rails:

Man the detail in this thing is mind blowing Nathan!!! I read a couple of pages back about the usage of Aires stuff and have to say that their update kits are worth a lot of the effort put into making them work. I had an Aires update for my Stuka build and was a little disappointed with the floor (which was totally wrong) but I got over it and made everything work and in the end I was highly satisfied with the results.

Thanks for looking in Joe. The aires cockpit was pretty straight forward. Just the usual cutting and grinding.
