Thanks a million Joe! Yeah, I'm lucky to have the airport nearby. I'm going to keep using it until they run me off I guess. I do want to make a dirt runway "base" that I can use with WWII planes and older. I think that would be more appropriate for many of those. Thanks again!

No joke! Heck, a plastic model could melt in this Texas August I believe. That might make for an interesting experiment; place a model on a car hood for a few hours and see if the Martian death rays come visit! On somewhat of a side-note, whenever I see a large, tripod-supported water storage tower, I always think of H.G. Wells' Martian War machines.
