here's the "handy rack" of each color that is next to my right side when I sit at the bench

I have to change it, it doesn't hold enough places for one of each, anymore, and the box space below it won't hold all of the back up paint stock.

Ok you win!! Although the paints you see in the pic are just the Vallejo, AK, and Ammo paints. All my MMA, Italeri, Xtracylix, Revell, and Tamiya paints are in another container to the side of that one.

haha, I wasn't trying to "win" anything.

That pic is actually almost a complaint by me.

Until I expand it, I can't put all of the paints in order by FS number like I want to, or put the "Vallejo formula" stuff at "ready to hand". That is why the green labeled caps are on the bottom,,,,,but, if I use any of those bottles up, I have to search through the white labels to find my second choice for any given color.

This in the former dining room, so, I can only expand until I have 5 of those top boxes across the top (that is only 200 colors each row of boxes)

I'm changing this all around this weekend, hoping to have 3 rows of 5 boxes per row (room for 600 bottles),,,,,,,then plastic boxes for the backstock.

The colors are all in my binder of chips, though, with a quantity written on the cards,,,,,,,so, at least I know that if I don't see it right away, I know it is somewhere in there.

I have my MMA and Tamiya labeled like you to on the lids. Then I organize them by colors (ie: greys, reds, metallics etc).

Since I match to FS, I put the FS number on the lids,,,,,,,,and they sort themselves if I get them in numerical order.

When we built our house 11 years ago, I laid claim to the upstairs of the garage...and with a friend was able to sheet rock and close off the main shop...what I call the CMD (Center for Masculine Development) These are old pics.....

First thing I did was paint the room in my favorite scheme-- a tri-color camo scheme from the US PTO of WWII...Dark Sea Blue over Intermediate Blue over White
Display case and model build when the bench gets too busy

Free cabinet and a tool chest....

Main bench and spray booth area...

Cabinet for storing and displaying models inherited free from a friend...
