B-29 in 1/48 Monogram
Re: B-29 in 1/48 Monogram
Okie dokie. Back to B-29 woes. As I have said, the decals arrived from R-PD. And, they were not in great shape. Jeff, the owner of R-PD, graciously refunded the money to me and told me to keep the decals. If nothing else, I was hoping to be able to use the white, "General Billy Mitchell" group decals. No such luck. These had Microsol Liquid Decal Film applied, twice. Maybe I don't know how to use it. I don't know. The decals simple shattered into tiny fragments.

Oh bad! I am so sorry about this, Lyle!
I could do you a high-res scan of mine, if you could print your own?!?

That's a right pain Lyle - I did have a look on Hannants and a few other suppliers websites over here but all I found were NMF birds.

...and you should. Just kidding. I really appreciate that you took the time to do so. I got my money back, so other than a little frustration, no harm.BlackSheep214 wrote:Man, now I feel terrible for sending the link and you buying the decal sheet.

They won't update the web site. The last time I asked, it was long OOP and not likely to be available anytime soon.Stikpusher wrote:Lyle check out this link... scroll down to the B-29 sheet by Iliad

Yeah, they are just not available. I even asked Illiad to sneak some in on another production run! No joy.portman wrote:That's a right pain Lyle - I did have a look on Hannants and a few other suppliers websites over here but all I found were NMF birds.
