I have washed and flat coated the Kamov. Unfortunatly painted leaked under the windows masking and I damaged the windows during the removing. So I need to restore the windows maybe by polishing it.
All the small pieces are on, it still needs some detail painting like landinglights.

Good work Borg, a simply toothpick could be good to remove dirt on clear parts
I must finish mine

It is not dirt, I used laquer based primer so it is etched in the plastic.BsYamato wrote:Good work Borg, a simply toothpick could be good to remove dirt on clear parts

So polishing it is the only option. That or make a cover...

Most impressive! I have one of these too. I certainly need to get started on nit someday soon. It won't be this good, but I have something to aspire to now. Way to go!

Nice! I had one built back in my youth years and did it in white.

You ended up with a nice well used look there!

I can advice you about my way to replace single windows as i did on the junkers (i ruined some with tamiya green cap) , drill the ruined windows and replace with acetate partsBorgR3mc0 wrote:It is not dirt, I used laquer based primer so it is etched in the plastic.BsYamato wrote:Good work Borg, a simply toothpick could be good to remove dirt on clear parts

It's hard to accomplish but the result is good
