Ok, you asked for it!
As you can see, my space is a little limited right now, due to construction. That bench
used to be clean. Then I had this brilliant idea to remodel my garage

. Anyhow, my bench is an old computer desk, tucked into the corner of my 26ft x 14ft garage. The remodel is probably 75-80% done. Just a little more drywall work, a little more electrical and I can start putting my shelves up for my smaller models. My plan is to have a 10 x 14 area at the end my bench is at, and the rest will be an around the wall, open (basically a square, open in the middle), 16 x 14 HO model railroad layout. Under the side facing my work area, I plan to build enclosed, cabinet type display cases. One for my HK B-17G and the other for my B-25H. Both will have clear plexiglass fronts, and lighting. Between that and the train, you can see why I've run an electrical outlet every 6 feet! And also why I'm trying to whittle my WIP's down some.
If you close at the left side of my bench, you can see my Priest on a stack of junk, my Albatros looking very much like many pics from WWI, behind it, the tail of the 1/144 B-1. On the right, various body parts to create a crew, and the B-1's cockpit in my soldering stand as I paint the nose art by hand, under that magnifier.
