Great progress on this one Stik! That cockpit looks great.

Thank you Stuart. It’s getting there. Taking proper shape now.

Re: 1/48 AMT P-40F
So last nite after work, I did a bit more work on this when I came home... I added the horizontal stabilizers, landing gear fairing front caps, and the cowl flap panel... and then let it dry overnite...

This morning I got in a quick airbrush session and applied a coat of Tamiya Neutral Gray to the undersurface.

It’s getting there now....

Exquisite work, Carlos! So clean! (I’m noticing this more and more.) Your cockpit design looks sharp as well as clean, what happens when you pick just the right components to modify... more and more I just wanna build old kits, so many possibilities....

Re: 1/48 AMT P-40F
Are we looking at the same model Bruce? LOL! It looks kind of messy to me eyes about now... and until at least the basic paint work is done... but thank you for you compliments. The cockpits did come out pretty well I think. The seat is a big boost, and the decals are better than the raised detail on the IP could be dry brushed. I would love to see if Yahu does a P-40 IP for the other P-40s in my stash.
But back to this one, I am now seeing the end game in sight.

That's looking great Carlos - The P-40 is such a cool looking aircraft.
