Thanks for understanding. I’m so frustrated. I had to reconfigure my entire work area last night. I am running with half my gear with everything else jammed in my closet.

That would drive me up the wall - I HATE having my space invaded. You have my sympathies Bruce.speedgraflex wrote:Thanks for understanding. I’m so frustrated. I had to reconfigure my entire work area last night. I am running with half my gear with everything else jammed in my closet.

Thanks, Stuart. I just can’t believe how much I depend upon having a computer setup until I’m down to a laptop and a phone and even then I should feel grateful but frankly pen, pencil and paper could resolve what I’m doing except staying in touch. All this technology! I’m ready to move to the desert or the deep forest. Every car adventure you post is terrific man it’s an escape from modern life—a time travel trip into the past to gain insights into how to live.
Also I am pretty sure I have to box this model to turn to the 109. I tend to be capricious with hobby time. The lessons learned so far will aid the K-4 considerably more than if I simply started on it first. I do understand that following me is a total pain in the arse, but I just had more glass fall down and packed my turntable (my Dad’s super Thorens with Grace tonearm) and I’m feeling sad all of a sudden for a life lived in fits and spurts.

Man what can I say - you have my deepest sympathies as I hate having the builders in at the best of times - without that kind of thing happening! I assume they've done something to make your home weather proof? It sucks that you're having to pack your life up though - I'm not surprised if you're feeling sad. I'm really glad my daft adventures help - apologies for not writing a proper one for a couple of weeks but I've just been too busy. I have about six in draft. I'll try and get another trip written up tomorrow.
You're a pain in the arse????? I've lost count of the amount of part started build threads I've got, especially in the past year. Don't sweat it - enjoy the 109!
Stay cool Dude, it'll all be sorted soon I'm sure!

My landlord laughed at the holes in the windows and said, “At least it’s warm out... I don’t know when we are going to fix them.” What the—?

I did—and that’s when he started to whine about spending 40-50K on renovations...” I filled in mentally “because the city ordinance forced that on you.” Unbelievable.

Well, that isn’t the answer one would hope for! Landlords must be the same everywhere. Come to
Kentucky...
Kentucky...
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

He is the idiot man child of a pair of brothers who took control of their mother’s property. She’s the smart one. They are “Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber.” I told this one that I preferred taking to his older brother about problems because he takes action. His response was, “He’s an idiot.” I thought, “Way to go...”
