Definetely a vegetable! Corn, doncha know. Got me thinkin' about the Whiskey Rebellion now...

Kinda takes me waaaaay back in the 70s when some kits were molded in a variety of colors… yellow, red, green, blue, silver, black, etc…

Thank you, Bruce. The b/w pics are “vintage” and of no use so far. Over 420 parts, too. Biggest issue is the faint part numbers on the sprues. Really weak and hard to see. However, each sprue tree has a large tab with the range of part numbers contained on it. I think 17 parts in the front axle. I get so tired of the same stuff that everyone else build for the most part, so, these beasts show up.

Tom, this one has yellow, black, white and a few clear.

...and often times way, way over my depth of capabilities! I fuss/cuss/holler and sometimes Pam will ask why do you do this. I tell her is is fun and relaxing.

The engine goes in today, I think. At least that is where I am in the destructions, uh, suggested build sequnce.

Thank you, Mike. Yep, yellow is the color of the day, for sure. These, and armor, tend to vex me greatly as the monochromatic colors are tough for me to A) see well during assembly, B) paint/weather convincingly...But, hey having some fun now.

That's so funny! I bought some Eduard vinyl canopy masks for my MiG-3 and they arrived yesterday. Hell, I can't even see the various shapes on the little sheet of vinyl! They are die-cut, but I have to basically "feel" with the tip of a #11 blade and see what lifts up. I'm sitting here with coffee now, sort of dreading that task, but in another way, I'm sort of anxious to get on with it. Anxious is the key word here. Note: the coffee will no doubt be of great help in guiding my steady hands.
